During his meeting with the police force of Can Tho City, President Tran Thanh Man expressed his delight over the outstanding achievements made by the police sector in the past year. He emphasized that despite the challenges of 2024, the country has achieved remarkable results under the right leadership of the Party and the efforts of the entire political system. Specifically, GDP growth reached 7.09%, the highest in Southeast Asia; per capita income reached approximately $4,700; the poverty rate dropped below 1.93%; and state budget revenue exceeded 2 million billion VND.
He also affirmed that the National Assembly has passed numerous important policies to create favorable conditions for the police force in executing their duties and ensuring benefits for officers and soldiers. This is a clear demonstration of the special attention of the Party and State towards those who maintain social order and security.
