Mr. Lê Văn Dũng, Chairman of Quảng Nam People’s Committee, emphasized the plan’s importance in shaping the province’s future. Quảng Nam aims to become a direct-controlled municipality by 2050, while also enhancing the quality of life and income for its citizens.

The conference highlighted several key projects poised to drive Quảng Nam’s economic growth. Thaco Group pledged nearly 4,000 billion VND in investment over the next two years. Hoiana has invested over US$1.4 billion and plans further investment of US$1 billion in 2025. Hyosung (South Korea) committed US$450 million in investment.
Furthermore, other significant projects, including upgrading Chu Lai Airport, constructing the Cửa Lở channel for 50,000-ton vessels, and a logistics center with an estimated investment of over 7,000 billion VND, are underway.
The total investment required to implement the 2021-2030 development plan is estimated at 630,000 billion VND, with private sector funding comprising approximately 80%. This indicates significant investor confidence in Quảng Nam’s development potential.
