Spring Book Fair 2025: A Knowledge-Filled Tet in Hanoi

The Spring Book Fair 2025, themed A Knowledge-Filled Tet – Reunion, officially opened on January 18 at the National Book Center (24 Quang Trung Street, Hoan Kiem District, Hanoi). The event is organized by the Vietnam Publishing Association in collaboration with the National Political Publishing House – Truth, Vietnam Education Publishing House, and the People’s Committee of Hoan Kiem District.

A standout feature of this year’s fair is the presence of over 3,000 diverse book titles, including notable genres such as rare books celebrating the Party and Tet, specialized books, educational materials, literature and art, and books for young adults. Notably, books about the nation’s history, as well as the life and achievements of Party and State leaders, are also showcased to honor national historical and cultural values.

Associate Professor Dr. Phạm Minh Tuấn, Chairman of the Vietnam Publishing Association, shared that the fair is not only a meaningful cultural event but also an opportunity to connect knowledge with the traditional Tet celebrations. This promises to become an annual activity, helping to promote the beauty of reading culture within the community.

Ms. Nguyễn Hoài Anh, Deputy Director of the National Political Publishing House – Truth, emphasized that the event takes place amid the nationwide celebration of the Year of the Snake and the 95th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of Vietnam. Selected publications on Party building, history, and leadership ideologies have been carefully curated for the fair.
