On the morning of February 1, Tet holiday of the Year of the Cat, a serious fire broke out at Lam Trai Ward, Van Duong District, Bac Ninh City. Thanks to the efforts of the Bac Ninh Provincial Fire and Rescue Department, six people trapped inside were successfully rescued along with many valuable assets.

At around 1:51 AM on February 1, the Bac Ninh Provincial Public Security Command Center received a report about a fire at a three-story house owned by Mr. Nguyen Manh Tuong. The center immediately dispatched three shifts of equipment, including two fire trucks, one ladder truck, and 14 officers to the scene for firefighting and rescue operations.
Upon investigation, the fire was found to have started in the attic on the first floor, specifically in the family altar room, covering an area of approximately 25 square meters. Flammable materials such as plastic electronic products, fabric, wood, and electrical devices generated dense smoke and toxic gases, engulfing the entire second and third floors of the house.

Inside the burning building, six people were trapped and unable to escape, located on the balconies of the second and third floors. In response to the critical situation, the Fire and Rescue Department quickly deployed personnel and equipment to extinguish the fire and prevent it from spreading to neighboring areas. Additionally, the rescue team used specialized equipment to evacuate the trapped individuals and valuable possessions from the danger zone.
All victims are now stable after being rescued. After a few minutes of intense effort, the fire was largely under control. By 2:15 AM, the fire was completely extinguished.
