On February 1, a video circulating on social media captured the scene of a young man wearing a tech-scooter delivery uniform being assaulted by another man on the street. The incident occurred on Tran Van Giau Street, Tan Tao A Ward, Binh Tan District, Ho Chi Minh City.

In the video, the man on a motorbike kicks the scooter and then blocks it, proceeding to assault the young man. The assailant loudly complains about the young man’s driving and repeatedly strikes him on the head.

Incident Details

Mr. N.M.N. (born 2000, from Dong Thap Province) confirmed to Dan Tri that he was the victim in the video. He stated that on the third day of Tet (January 31), he rode his motorcycle from his hometown to Ho Chi Minh City to work as a tech-scooter driver. When he reached Tran Van Giau Street, Tan Tao A Ward, Binh Tan District, the incident took place.

“I do not know the man who attacked me, and I did not collide with anyone while driving. After the incident, I reported it to the police,” Mr. N. shared.

Investigation

The Tan Tao A Police Station is currently investigating and clarifying the cause of the incident. The event has drawn significant attention from the public, with many expressing their outrage and demanding strict action against the attacker.
