Last night (February 10), on the official VFF Fanpage, the Vietnam Football Federation wrote: “The goal against Quang Nam (which extended the lead to 2-0 in the 75th minute) marks a memorable milestone in Tien Linh’s career.”

“The striker from Binh Duong FC has now scored 100 goals in his career: 75 for Binh Duong FC and 25 for the Vietnam national team,” added the VFF.

Reaching 100 career goals is a stunning achievement for any professional footballer. With 75 goals for Binh Duong, Tien Linh won the National Super Cup in 2016 and the National Cup in 2018 with the Southeastern team.

With 25 goals for the national team, Tien Linh won two AFF Cup titles in 2018 and 2024. He is one of five Vietnamese players to have won the AFF Cup twice, alongside Quang Hai, Duy Manh, Tien Dung, and Van Toan.

Additionally, Tien Linh was the top scorer of the 2022 AFF Cup, netting six goals (equaling Thai striker Teerasil Dangda’s tally).

Tien Linh became the first Vietnamese player to win the AFF Cup top scorer award, before Xuan Son achieved the same feat at the 2024 AFF Cup.

With his goal against Quang Nam on February 9, Tien Linh has now scored 8 goals in the 2024-2025 V-League season. He leads the race for the top scorer title, ahead of Xuan Son (Nam Dinh), Lucao (Hai Phong), and Artur De Melo (Hanoi Public Security FC), who each have 7 goals.
