Ngày 27/1, thông tin từ UBND xã Đông, huyện Kbang, tỉnh Gia Lai xác nhận thi thể cháu Đinh Văn L. (SN 2017, trú tại làng Đak Giang 2, xã Đông) đã được tìm thấy và bàn giao cho gia đình để tổ chức mai táng. Đây là trường hợp mất tích thứ hai trong vụ việc đau lòng xảy ra tại địa phương.
Tối ngày 26/1, lực lượng chức năng đã phát hiện thi thể cháu L. trên khu vực sông Ba, đoạn chảy qua địa phận thôn 4, xã Đông. Vị trí này cách nơi tìm thấy thi thể người chị gái khoảng 300m. Như vậy, sau nhiều ngày nỗ lực tìm kiếm, cả hai cháu bé đều đã được tìm thấy nhưng không may mắn sống sót.

According to representatives from the Dong Commune People’s Committee, Mr. Dinh Ban’s family is classified as near-poor with six members, including an elderly mother, a working-age couple, and three young children. The sudden loss of the two children has been a profound grief not only for the family but also for the local community.
The Dong Commune People’s Committee has coordinated with the Red Cross of Kbang District to provide two coffins and recommended the Department of Labor, Invalids, and Social Affairs to assist with emergency burial costs. On the morning of January 27, the United Front Committee of Kbang District, along with the Dong Commune People’s Committee, temporarily allocated 25 million VND from the budget to help the family with funeral arrangements according to local customs.
Incident Details
According to reports from Dan Tri newspaper, on January 23, siblings Dinh Thi L. and Dinh Van L., along with their father, Mr. Dinh Ban, went to the farm to work. After lunch, the two children left their temporary shelter to play around the farm area. On the evening of January 24, when Mr. Ban returned home without finding his children, he immediately searched frantically and reported the incident to the authorities.
On January 26, the body of Dinh Thi L. was discovered near the Ba River, about 500 meters from the farm. Later that evening, the body of Dinh Van L. was also found nearby.
