On the evening of February 9, the Phu Giao District Police in Binh Duong are investigating the cause of a severe traffic accident involving a truck and a motorcycle that resulted in two deaths.

According to initial information, around 4 PM on the same day, Mr. Nguyen Hong T., a 39-year-old driver from Binh Thuan, was operating a livestock-carrying truck with license plate 61C-592xx on DT741, heading from the district administrative center of Phu Giao to Vinh Hoa Commune.
At the intersection with Tạo Lực Road (Vinh Tien Hamlet, Vinh Hoa Commune, Phu Giao District), Mr. T. turned right, causing a collision with a motorcycle driven by Mr. Luu Xuan Tr., a 32-year-old man, who was riding with Ms. Le Thi Lan M., a 35-year-old woman, both residents of An Binh Commune, Phu Giao District.
The collision caused the couple to be dragged under the truck. Mr. Tr. died instantly after being run over by the wheels, while Ms. M. sustained critical injuries and was rushed to Binh Duong General Hospital for emergency treatment but later passed away.
Upon receiving the report, the Phu Giao District Police arrived at the scene to conduct an investigation into the cause of the accident.
Friends of the victims stated that the couple were planning to get married soon.
