The “Union Flight – Spring 2025” program, organized by the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, has brought immense joy to hundreds of workers. This meaningful initiative supports those facing financial hardships or achieving outstanding performance, allowing them and their families to reunite during the Lunar New Year of Ất Tỵ.
Detailed Program Information
According to the plan, this year’s program will operate two flights from Ho Chi Minh City with specific itineraries:
- Flight to Vinh (VN7282): Departs at 10:25 AM on January 25
- Flight to Hanoi (VN7220): Departs at 3:10 PM on January 25
Out of the total 450 sponsored flight tickets:
- The Vietnam General Confederation of Labor supports 400 people (220 to Hanoi, 180 to Vinh)
- Vietnam Airlines sponsors an additional 50 people (to Hanoi)
Accompanying Meaningful Activities
Before departure, special activities will take place at Tan Son Nhat Airport:
- Hosting meetings and New Year greetings for workers
- Giving away commemorative gifts
- Providing necessary information and guidance for passengers
To ensure smooth operations, the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor has closely coordinated with:
- Labor Federations of Binh Duong, Dong Nai, Ba Ria – Vung Tau, Long An, and Tay Ninh provinces
- Vietnam Railway Union
- Ho Chi Minh City Labor Federation
Expanding Support Scope
In addition to the flight program, the “Union Train” is also being organized on a large scale. This year, the program, led by the Dong Nai Provincial Labor Federation, is scheduled to start at 11:00 AM on January 21 at Bien Hoa Station in Dong Nai Province.
According to the latest statistics, 1,750 people have registered to participate, including:
- 1,009 union member workers
- 741 of their relatives
