To create realistic scenes, the film crew invested in constructing the set right beside the Thach Han River, a site closely tied to the heroic history of Quang Tri. Here, every small detail—from bricks to paint colors and artifacts—was carefully crafted to match historical accuracy. This effort aimed to depict the brutality of war and the indomitable spirit of the soldiers and civilians.
Quang Tri Citadel, once a peaceful home to many, now stands as a solid shield protecting the soldiers. Through each wave of attacks, despite the citadel’s damage and destruction, the will of the soldiers remained unshaken. These hardships and losses further motivated them to move forward.
