In his working trip to Điện Bàn City, Vice Premier Nguyễn Hòa Bình carried out meaningful activities to express deep gratitude to families who have made significant contributions to the nation and to support those in difficult circumstances during the Tet holiday. Honoring Mothers of Vietnam’s Heroic Army

One of the highlights of the visit was Vice Premier Nguyễn Hòa Bình’s personal visits to check on the health and present gifts to Mother of Vietnam’s Heroic Army Lê Thị Trị. He had warm conversations with her and urged her family to take good care of her so she can live happily and healthily.

On this occasion, Vice Premier also paid respects at the homes of Mother of Vietnam’s Heroic Army Nguyễn Thị Thứ, the memorial house of Martyr Hero Nguyễn Văn Trỗi, and the martyrs’ cemetery of Điện Bàn City. Special Attention to War Veterans and Those with Meritorious Service

Beyond honoring the Mothers of Vietnam’s Heroic Army, Vice Premier also visited and presented gifts to two war veterans from Vĩnh Điện Ward—Mr. Hoàng Kim Đức and Mr. Nguyễn Xuân Ngọc. He expressed deep gratitude for their significant sacrifices and emphasized their role in educating younger generations about patriotism and the responsibility of building their homeland.

Supporting Difficult Circumstances

The visit also brought joy to 150 households facing poverty and near-poverty, as well as workers and laborers in difficult situations in Điện Bàn City. He presented meaningful Tet gifts accompanied by wishes for the families to welcome the new year with peace, happiness, and prosperity.

According to Mr. Nguyễn Minh Hiếu, Acting Chairman of the People’s Committee of Điện Bàn City, the locality currently has over 19,800 martyrs, 3,140 Mothers of Vietnam’s Heroic Army (of which 46 are still alive), more than 7,240 wounded and sick soldiers, and 3,000 people captured and imprisoned by the enemy. The locality is providing monthly allowances to over 8,000 meritorious individuals with a total budget exceeding 21 billion VND.
