Surveillance camera footage from inside a restaurant in San Isidro de El General (Costa Rica) captured the moment a robber suddenly lunged to snatch a handbag from a woman waiting at the payment counter.
However, the robber did not realize he had targeted a Jiu-jitsu practitioner. After a moment of surprise, the girl immediately chased after him, using a Jiu-jitsu move to take down the robber.
The girl used a lock to subdue and restrain the robber, preventing him from escaping, while restaurant staff called the police.
When the police arrived at the scene, the robber was still being held down by the girl. He was arrested with multiple facial injuries after being attacked by the girl.
