In recent days, the phrases “Phở anh Hai” (Brother Hai’s Pho) and “10 Dan Phuong” have garnered significant attention from Vietnamese internet users. This craze originated from a Vietnamese game titled “Brother Hai’s Pho Restaurant.”

Immediately, “Phở anh Hai at 10 Dan Phuong” became a “hot” and highly searched location. However, this address is completely fictitious.

Notably, searches for “Phở anh Hai” and “10 Dan Phuong” surged on ride-hailing apps. Some users even created a virtual location for “Phở anh Hai” on Google Maps, allowing fans to “check-in.”

As of the evening of November 4th, the virtual location of “Phở anh Hai” on Google Maps had attracted dozens of comments and numerous 5-star ratings, achieving an average score of 4.7 stars. Furthermore, the online community left many comments and images related to this location.

Some comment images were taken directly from the game, while others were created using AI (artificial intelligence). Remarkably, many humorous comments even rated the owner’s service quality, despite the location being imaginary.

However, this lighthearted trend is also causing some concern as dozens of “phở anh hai” and “phở anh hải” listings have been added to the map. This could lead to misinformation and confusion for users.

The game “Brother Hai’s Pho Restaurant” is set in the rural village of Dan Phuong (Hanoi), where players embody “Anh Hai” (Brother Hai) – the owner of a pho restaurant at “10 Dan Phuong.”

Everything seems ordinary, yet it hides strange details, from how customers behave to unexpected incidents in the restaurant. One of the factors that makes the game popular is its meticulous realism.

From the patterned tiled floor, moss-green painted walls, plastic blue tables, to the chili sauce and chopsticks placed on the table, everything accurately recreates the image of a typical Vietnamese street food stall.

Even posters for “concrete drilling and cutting,” hot loans advertisements, or “drug prevention” slogans – familiar sights on almost every Vietnamese street – are pasted on the walls.

Players take on the role of the owner, serving each customer with their unique requests. The story gradually expands into a series of mysterious events, with multiple endings depending on the player’s actions.
