Recently, singer Võ Hạ Trâm has become a familiar face in many music and entertainment programs. After an emotional performance at the April 30th grand ceremony and the song Nguyện là người Việt Nam (Wishing to be Vietnamese) released on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of National Day on September 2nd, the female singer continues to launch a new product titled Triệu triệu con tim (Millions of Hearts).
The song Triệu triệu con tim (Millions of Hearts) is composed by young musician DC Tâm, the talent behind many hit songs from reality TV shows. The song features a heroic melody and lyrics that spread the spirit of love and unity among millions of Vietnamese hearts.
“I want to bring music as a message of sharing, a wave encouraging the resilient spirit and Vietnamese heroism flowing in millions of hearts, not only within our S-shaped land but also all over the world,” she shared.
Võ Hạ Trâm revealed that the inspiration for performing the song came from the images she witnessed in her hometown of Quảng Nam (old name) – where people still struggle against natural disasters, with many homes and fields swept away after each storm. Transforming personal sorrow into collective pain, she poured her emotions into every lyric.
“As soon as I heard the first melody, I felt an invisible connection. It made me remember my homeland, the sweeping storms, the fields washed away, and people left with nothing yet holding hands and rising again. Triệu triệu con tim is my way of sending love and encouraging the spirit of people in disaster-stricken areas,” she stated.
During the production process, Võ Hạ Trâm received wholehearted support from her family, especially her Indian husband, businessman Vikas Chaudhary.
“Witnessing the losses and damages our compatriots suffered during the recent storms and floods, my husband felt deep compassion.
He also understands that music is my breath, so he is always willing to share household chores and childcare so I can fully dedicate myself to this song. There were nights I recorded until morning, and he would still wait at the door and encourage me. This companionship gives me more energy to sing and contribute,” the singer emotionally shared.
Through Triệu triệu con tim, Võ Hạ Trâm wants to convey that whether in the North, Central, or South, within the country or across borders, millions of Vietnamese hearts still beat as one for humanity and the homeland.
“Some people ask me whether I prioritize technique or emotion when singing this song. I believe that with a song like this, too much technique isn’t necessary. I just want everyone, in any corner of life, to be able to sing along, as an encouragement of “mutual love” in every Vietnamese heart,” the singer shared.
