Current Health Status

One month ago, the actress was rushed to the hospital in critical condition. She lost her ability to speak and experienced difficulty walking, leading to speculation that she had suffered a stroke. As a result, she had to temporarily halt all artistic activities to focus on treatment.

According to reports from Sina, Zhoutzu was brought into the event venue by a flower-covered vehicle. The 1998-born actress received numerous compliments for her fresh complexion and cheerful demeanor. However, her slender figure raised concerns. She appeared quite thin, with very small legs.

Close friends revealed that during her month-long recovery, Zhoutzu gained 4 kg, increasing from 36.9 kg to 41 kg. This weight gain helped her gradually regain her plump facial features. Nevertheless, her current weight still does not match her height of 1.6 meters.

Career and Challenges

Zhoutzu is one of the prominent faces among actresses born between 1995 and 2000 in the Chinese entertainment industry. She has starred in many popular films such as My Emperor, Legend of Chen Tian Tian, The World Beyond, Radiant Han Dynasty, and Caught in the Act. With a large fan base, she is also a favorite among brands in China.

At the end of December 2024, Zhoutzu was rushed to the hospital due to severe exhaustion, losing her ability to communicate and move her limbs. In early January 2025, she shared a letter with her fans, admitting to having suffered from psychological issues since 2019. The reasons included childhood trauma from school bullying, being beaten by a senior manager, extorted by her personal manager, the loss of close relatives, public pressure, and high work intensity.

Despite enduring depression for years, Zhoutzu silently bore it out of fear of being labeled as using illness to attract attention. However, by the end of 2024, her health completely deteriorated.

New Transition

Zhoutzu’s return to work after a month of treatment has sparked discussions on social media. Some reports suggest that she was pressured to return to work while still not fully recovered, fearing the need to compensate for large contract breaches.

According to Sina, Zhoutzu signed a 10-year contract with Galaxy Entertainment in September 2016. If either party unilaterally terminates or breaches the agreement, the artist must pay 10 times the contract amount as compensation. At this point, if she leaves the company, she would face a compensation of up to 450 million New Taiwan Dollars (approximately 350 billion Vietnamese Dong).

Currently, Zhoutzu’s side has not commented on these reports.

Conclusion

Zhoutzu’s return is not only a positive sign of her health but also a testament to her resilience in overcoming challenges. Fans hope she will continue to thrive in her career and maintain better health in the future. Let’s support Zhoutzu on her upcoming journey!
