According to statistics of the Ministry of Health, on May 13, there were 1,738 new COVID-19 cases, 75 of which were severe˳
Since the beginning of the epidemic, Vietnam has had 11,589,567 infections, ranking 13/231 countries and territories, while with the rate of infections/1 million people, Vietnam ranks 120/231 countries and territories˳ territories (116,963 cases on average for every 1 million people)˳

Although the World Health Organization (WHO) has announced the end of a global health emergency, a sub-variant of Omicron has been recorded so far˳
“The global public health emergency is over, but the epidemic is not over˳ We still have cases, including hospitalizations, and deaths from COVID-19˳
Therefore, the Ministry of Health still needs to continue to publish data on the epidemic every day for relevant agencies to understand,” said Mr˳ Lan˳
According to Mr˳ Lan, the current epidemic prevention and control activities will be based on the epidemiological situation, prevention measures, resources … especially in the context that the epidemic is not stable, there are still mutations and new cases every day˳ These measures are to ensure that when there are situations, they must be applied to control the epidemic quickly˳
