Accordingly, the Institute for Drug Testing of Ho Chi Minh City has reported on a product sample with information on the labeling of Cephalexin 500 hard capsules (cephalexin monohydrate corresponding to anhydrous cephalexin 500mg), batch number: 04310322, NSX: 310322, HD : 310225, VD-25166-17, manufactured by Cuu Long Pharmaceutical Joint Stock Company (address number 150, 14/9 Street, Ward 5, Vinh Long City)˳

Samples were collected by Vinh Long testing center at Ngoc Thanh Thanh pharmacy (group 3, Tan Loi clump, Tan Quoi town, Binh Tan district, Vinh Long province)˳ The results showed that this drug did not meet the quality requirements for qualitative criteria according to USP 43˳

However, based on the drug marketing authorization data of the Drug Administration of Vietnam, there is no drug product that has been licensed for circulation with the above information˳

Therefore, the department requested the Department of Health of Vinh Long province to coordinate with the authorities to conduct inspection and examination of Ngoc Thanh Thanh pharmacy and relevant units to trace the origin of this shipment˳ Handle violations according to regulations and report inspection, examination and handling results to the Drug Administration of Vietnam˳

In addition, functional units need to strengthen inspection and periodic and irregular inspection of the implementation of professional regulations on pharmacy by drug manufacturing, trading and using establishments in the locality˳ ˳
